Loved this game. It was kind of Bo Duke instead of Buffy.
But this story revolves around the legacy of hunters of St. George.
This mentions Bavaria... 
That'd be Grandmother's side for 1600's Andersons and Blackwell's  Heraldry would be Unicorn/Lion with Celtic Griffins for Ramsey and Ramsay.  I'm kin to Ramsey.  Finding hints in the German Castles, the Madonna's,  the Wagner music used to fight the werewolves..  I prefered this to the fully animated version that followed.
I was also a huge fan of the Tex Murphey series and it's a running meme that it will someday return.
